Important Announcement: Change of Ownership at Marubeni-Komatsu Limited.
After 53 years of successful operations in the UK, we would like to inform you of an important change in the ownership of our business.
Effective 1 January 2026, ownership of Marubeni-Komatsu Limited (MKL) will transfer from the Marubeni Group to McHale Plant Sales Limited.
As part of this transition, Komatsu will acquire a minority equity interest in McHale Plant Sales Limited, a long-standing and respected Komatsu distributor serving the Republic of Ireland. Reflecting both the change in ownership and Komatsu’s equity involvement, the company will adopt a new name – McHale Komatsu – effective January 2026.
Please be assured that we will continue to operate as the sole UK distributor of Komatsu Construction and Utility products. Our operations, organisational structure, and the dedicated team you know will remain unchanged. This is a change in share ownership only, and our commitment to delivering the high level of service you expect will continue.
We will finalise the company name change in January 2026 and will keep you informed as further details become available.
