With a net horsepower of 95 kW (128 hp), the WA200-7 is driven by a Komatsu SAA4D107E-2 engine, which fully complies with EU Stage IIIB exhaust emission regulations. Weighing in at approx. 11.800 kg, the new wheel loader features lower fuel consumption, improved operator comfort, and optimized serviceability to maximize productivity with minimal operating costs.
The WA200-7 is an ideal choice for any application. The versatile PZ-linkage combines the advantages of the approved Z-bar linkage with the features of parallel lift kinematics. With the PZlinkage design, tilting forces reach an optimal level, and parallel movement during fork application is guaranteed.
New features
EU Stage IIIB emission certified engine
The Komatsu SAA4D107E-2 EU Stage IIIB engine provides lower emissions while also lowering fuel consumption. It uses an advanced electronic control system to better manage air-flow rate, fuel injection, combustion and exhaust after-treatment to optimize performance and fuel usage.
Responsive hydrostatic powertrain system
An electronically controlled HST drivetrain features the Traction Control System to facilitate operations on soft or slippery ground. The dynamic braking effect of the HST drivetrain slows down the machine when the accelerator is released. Additionally, brake wear is practically eliminated. Machine control is also enhanced an especially important quality when working in tight places, such as waste transfer stations. Simplified controls provide an AUTO mode and an S-Mode, which reduces the tractive effort when traveling at low speed and offers optimum driving force. For improved safety and precision, the Variable Shift Control (VSC) allows the operator to set the speed from 1km/h up to 14 km/h, a feature perfectly fitted for applications such as lawn mowing or milling jobs.
Enhanced operator environment
The new cab provides a more comfortable and quieter work environment. The slanted engine hood gives an excellent view to the rear. A new redesigned seat-mounted right hand console has a multifunction mono-lever with proportional control for the integrated 3rd spool, allowing complete control over hydraulic attachments such as high dump or grapple buckets. An auxiliary input was added to connect an MP3 player or other device along with two 12-volt ports incorporated into the cab.
Convenient maintenance and serviceability
The WA200-7 provides convenient service access to reduce downtime. It has an increased cooling capacity, with a wide core radiator that prevents clogging even when working in dusty environments such as waste or log handling and other industrial applications. To minimize manual cleaning, a reversible and swing-out fan blows dust out, automatically or on demand. The “automatic reverse” function allows to set the cleaning length and the time between cleanings. The “swing-out” function allows the fan to be easily cleared of any leftover debris. The machine is equipped with the exclusive Komatsu EMMS (Equipment Management Monitoring System), which provides enhanced diagnostic features that give the operator, and technicians greater monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities. EMMS also continuously monitors many critical systems, as well as the planned maintenance schedule, and provides troubleshooting assistance to minimize diagnosis and repair time.
The WA200-7 is supported by Komatsu CARE™, a complimentary maintenance program for Komatsu customers that comes as standard with every new Komatsu EU Stage IIIB construction machine. For the first three years or 2.000 hours it covers factory-scheduled maintenance, performed by Komatsu-trained technicians with Komatsu Genuine parts.
The latest KOMTRAX™ technology on the new WA200-7 wheel loader sends machine operating information to a secure website utilizing wireless technology. Data such as operating hours, fuel consumption, location, hydraulic load distribution, cautions and maintenance alerts are relayed to the web application for analysis.
