Berkeley Limited Goes Komatsu

Berkeley Limited have recently taken delivery of a new Komatsu D61PX-23 Bulldozer and a Komatsu PC210LC-8 Hydraulic Excavator. The two machines have been quickly put to work, helping transform a former landfill site in Macaulay Lane, West Grimsby into a 17-acre country park, which is due for completion later this year.

The Leeds based Civil Engineering and General Construction firm chose Komatsu for their reliability and popularity with operators, as Paul Sanderson Managing Director explains. ‘I have had experience of Komatsu equipment for over 10 years and in that time I have rarely experienced any problems with them, they really are very good machines. Plus the operators really like them too.’

‘We particularly chose the D61PX-23 Bulldozer as it has a factory fitted plug and play option for TopCon. This makes through its GPS positioning, for a more productive and efficient bulldozer. Along with the Komtrax machine location and health monitoring system, this is an excellent all round machine.’

Rob Wilmot Area Sales Manager for Marubeni-Komatsu adds; ‘I am delighted that Berkeley have chosen Komatsu in what is a very competitive market place, I am sure that they will prove to be an asset to the company.’
