Caddick Construction recently took delivery of two new Komatsu PC210LC-8 (21 tonne) and two new PC138US-10 (13 tonne) hydraulic crawler excavators. The company based in West Yorkshire primarily bought them as replacements for their existing Komatsu PC210-7’s and PC130-7’s, as Caddick Construction Steve Carlyle Head Mechanic explains; ‘We bought our current Komatsu Excavators in 2004 and in the best part of ten years we never had any major problems with them. They have been fantastic machines for us and when it came to thinking about their replacements, then there was no hesitation to buy Komatsu again. In fact with some new additional contracts won recently by the company we may well keep the dash 7’s running for a while longer yet’.
