Marubeni-Komatsu Ltd are to partner with the Hawk Group to supply a brand-new fleet of Komatsu construction equipment to work at Hawk’s Safety and training centre based in Shropshire.
In addition to their plant hire business, Hawk are a leading provider of plant training in the UK delivering over 5,000 courses every year. With new projects such as HS2 and the Highways England road building program requiring large numbers of additional workers. This investment will enable Hawk to expand their existing facility to assist their customers to ensure we train and upskill new and existing workers in the sector to meet future demand.
The new machine line-up comprises all the very latest Komatsu models including the HB215LC-2 hybrid excavator plus the D61PXi-24 and PC210LCi-11 intelligent Machine Control equipment. Komatsu were the first to introduce both hybrid and integrated machine control technologies to the market in a drive to increase safety, productivity and efficiency on-site and reduce the environmental impact of construction projects.

The new machines will enable Hawk to deliver the very best hands-on training at their recently expanded training facility – ensuring their clients receive training on the very latest machines and technology available in the UK.
